SQUADROLL

Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

The Short Version

SquadRoll collects the minimum data needed to work. We don't sell your data, we don't track you across the web, and we don't store your Steam library permanently.

What We Collect

Steam Authentication

When you sign in, Steam gives us your public profile info (display name, avatar, Steam ID). We never see your Steam password. Authentication happens entirely through Steam's official OpenID system.

Game Library Data

We read your list of owned games to find common multiplayer titles within your party. This data is cached temporarily for your session and then deleted. We do not permanently store your game library.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Datafast) to understand how people use SquadRoll. This tracks page views and basic usage patterns without cookies or personal identifiers. No cross-site tracking. No ad networks.

What We Don't Do

  • ❌ Sell or share your data with third parties
  • ❌ Use advertising cookies or trackers
  • ❌ Store your Steam password
  • ❌ Permanently store your game library
  • ❌ Track you across other websites

Cookies & Storage

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in during your visit. That's it. No tracking cookies, no third-party cookies.

Data Retention

Party data and game caches are temporary and expire automatically. We don't maintain long-term user accounts or profiles beyond what's needed for an active session.
